A large half-round carved lotus mandala in the northern Thai tradition, pierced right through into fine openwork. Concentric arcs of scrolling vine, blossom, and leaf radiate from a bold lotus fan at the centre, with small birds worked into the foliage and a flame-leaf border running the full sweep of the edge. At 180 cm across it is sized as a king headboard, mounted on the wall above the bed, and reads just as well as a standing statement panel on any wall with the width to carry it. The carving is deep and confident in solid hardwood, most likely teak, not MDF or composite, and it comes in fitted sections in the usual way for a piece this size, which makes it far easier to hang than its scale suggests. Warm natural tone throughout, ready to lift a bedroom or a large wall.
